CMS Enhancements reported net income of $1.1 million for its fiscal 1989 first quarter, up dramatically from $313,000 in the year-earlier period. Revenue increased 43%, to $48 million from $33.5 million a year ago. The Tustin-based manufacturer of computer storage products attributed the improved financial results to expansion of its national distributors, growth in international sales and higher profit margins on its products.
