When Moe Lemay of the Boston Bruins became a father for the second time last month, he said of the boy, Tyler, “I hope he’s a baseball player.”

“Why not a rock star?” asked Jeff Jacobs of the Hartford Courant.

“He’d have to deal with the money and the women,” Lemay said.
