Do Wa Diddy Diddy Wins Los Alamitos Feature
Scott White rode Do Wa Diddy Diddy to a narrow upset over Final Flurry in Wednesday night’s allowance main event at Los Alamitos Race Course.
Breaking from the far outside post position, White had a half-length lead aboard Do Wa Diddy Diddy midway through the 400-yard race and then held off Final Flurry and rider John Creager to win by a nose in 20.15 seconds. It was the third career victory for Do Wa Diddy Diddy, who paid $16.00, $5.80 and $4.40.
Final Flurry paid $4.00 and $3.00, and Mister Policy, ridden by Danny Cardoza, paid $6.20 to show.
