Liberace Ex-Lover Gets Jail Term
A former Las Vegas dancer and companion of the late pianist Liberace who once sued the entertainer for palimony was sentenced today in Los Angeles Superior Court to three years probation for robbery.
As a condition of the probation, Scott Alan Thorson, 31, who described his homosexual love life with Liberace in a recent book, must serve one year in county jail and remain on probation for two years. Thorson pleaded guilty in July to one count of robbery for his role in a ring prosecutors allege staged a series of violent drug-related robberies.
