American Mobile Systems Reports $1.6-Million Loss
American Mobile Systems, a Sherman Oaks operator of two-way mobile radio systems mostly for taxis and delivery services, said its loss narrowed to $1.6 million in the first quarter that ended Sept. 30, from a loss of $1.7 million a year earlier.
The company’s revenue rose 5% in the period to $1.7 million from $1.6 million a year earlier. The increase was attributed to higher payments by its customers for air time.
