Closed for the Holiday

All federal, state, county and city offices in San Diego will be closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. County and state offices will also be closed Friday, but city offices will be open.

All courts and banks will be closed Thursday, but federal courthouses and banks will be open Friday.

Most schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

No mail will be delivered Thursday.

Trash will not be collected in San Diego on Thursday, and pickup will be a day late the rest of the week. All city and county landfills will be closed for the holiday but will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

All city-operated recreation centers, swimming pools and fishing lakes will be closed Thursday. County centers will be open.
