High School Basketball : Burbank Scores Just 14 in Defeat
Burbank High scored only 2 points in the fourth quarter and no Bulldog scored more than 4 points as Crescenta Valley humbled the Bulldogs, 59-14, Friday in the semifinal round of the Crescenta Valley tournament.
The night before, Burbank (1-4) scored 83 points in a first-round win over Daniel Murphy.
Guard Rafie Eskandarian scored and Paul Matijasevic each scored 13 points and reserve forward Bruce Jacobsen scored 12 for Crescenta Valley (5-0).
Crescenta Valley took a 42-12 lead at the end of 3 quarters en route to the win at home.
