Local News in Brief : Los Alamitos : $6-Million Lotto 6/49 Winner Claims Prize

The winner of last Saturday’s $6-million Lotto 6/49 has come forward to claim his prize.

Mark Montano, 26, of Bellflower purchased his ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Los Alamitos with the winning numbers: 1, 8, 18, 19, 20 and 27. Montano, a courier for a computer company, will receive $311,000 annually (before taxes) for 20 years, according to a state lottery official.

Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 jackpot was worth more than $5 million, the official said.
