Mann Judd Landau, an accounting firm that focuses on small to medium-sized companies, and Touche Ross, the Big Eight accounting and consulting firm, have agreed to merge effective Jan. 1. Anthony Rapp, managing partner of Touche Ross’ New York office, stated that Mann Judd Landau, or MJL, will retain its name and operate as a division of Touche Ross out of the MJL office on Park Avenue. MJL’s Woodbury, N.Y., and Los Angeles offices will be merged into Touche Ross practices on Long Island and in Los Angeles. MJL offices in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Miami and Philadelphia have elected not to merge with Touche Ross.
