Former Czech Diplomat Gets Asylum in Britain

LONDON — A former Czechoslovak diplomat in India, Vlastimil Lubvik, has been granted political asylum in Britain, the Foreign Office said.
Lubvik was first secretary at his country’s embassy in New Delhi, but the Foreign Office would not say Tuesday night when he arrived in Britain or give any details on his defection.
