Laine to Resume Role in ‘Woods’ Tonight
Singer-actress Cleo Laine is out of the woods after losing her voice and missing the Sunday matinee performance of Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods” at the Ahmanson. She’s expected back in her role of the Witch tonight.
Jo Ann Cunningham played the role on Sunday. Ahmanson management said only three patrons asked for ticket exchanges.
