Micro D, the nation’s largest wholesaler of personal computer products, said its majority shareholder, Ingram Industries Inc. of Nashville, Tenn., has made a cash tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Micro D for $12.50 per share, or $37 million. The tender offer follows a proposal made last month to Micro D’s management to acquire Miro D’s outstanding shares at the same price. Micro D’s board rejected that offer as inadequate.
