Films now going into production: Cleo (Platinum). Shooting in NYC. Erstwhile erotica director Chuck Vincent produces, writes and directs this “sex reversal” comedy. Leo is a cigar-chomping, male-chauvinist factory owner who falls in a vat of chemicals and comes out as Cleo, a sexy, gentle woman who lets him see how the other half feels. Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders (Filmvest). Shooting in Vancouver. Kick-boxer Vince Murdocco is Flesh, and William Hunt returns as Emperor Wang in this sequel to the 1974 original. When Wang’s omnipotent Ray-Gun renders the male populace of the world impotent, Flesh endeavors to restore worldwide virility and crush Wang (he’s bionic now) for all time.
