An off-duty Fresno police officer spotted and captured a man wanted for two fatal stabbings in Fresno in 1982. The officer saw Robert Cedillo, 22, of Fresno walking near an intersection in the town of Clovis. The officer, with help from a Clovis officer, captured Cedillo without incident. Investigators said Cedillo had been sought since mid-1982 for the stabbing deaths of Armando Velez and his brother, Mario, in Fresno. Police said Cedillo was 16 at the time.
