21 Fishermen in Michigan Rescued From Ice Floes

BAY CITY, Mich. — Ice in Saginaw Bay broke loose from the shore Friday, setting 21 fishermen adrift on floes until the Coast Guard and Bay County Sheriff’s Department rescued them, officials said. Three of the fishermen were treated for exposure, but the remainder had no serious injuries, a Coast Guard spokesman said.
