Victimized by Comments in the Sexual Abuse Story

I write in appreciation of the article on men surviving childhood sexual abuse. I have received a substantial number of inquiries from men in many walks of life, professions and socioeconomic classes (describing abuse). It is encouraging to me to know that I am no longer alone in my childhood sexual abuse experience, yet, at the same time I ache deep inside at the lives that currently continue to silently suffer in their personal memories of emotional, physical and sexual abuses.

As one individual, within one nonprofit organization called PLEA (Prevention, Leadership, Education, Assistance). I’m attempting to provide information, support and referrals to those adult male survivors in our community who, like myself, are non-offending and advocate child abuse prevention today.
