Saddleback Continues to Top Basketball Poll
Saddleback High School, scoring an average of 62.1 points per game and allowing an average of 49.2 points, remains the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep basketball poll for the fourth week in a row.
Saddleback has won 13 consecutive games, the longest winning streak in the county. Sixth-ranked Savanna (18-1) has won 9 games in a row since losing to Irvine in the Irvine World News tournament.
El Dorado (15-4) makes its debut in the top 10 in the 10th position, pushing Orange Lutheran out of the poll.
