A young pizza parlor manager in Riverside has died after being shot by a robber who was apparently angered because there was so little money in the cash register, police said. Witnesses told police a man entered a Domino’s Pizza shop on Van Buren Boulevard, demanded money, took “a dollar and some change” from the cash register, then demanded, “Where’s the rest of it?” “That’s all there is,” manager Shane Weeks, 24, told him. The gunman started for the door but turned and fired two shots before leaving with an accomplice who had acted as lookout, police said. Weeks died of a stomach wound, detectives said. Domino’s has offered as much as $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killers.
