Mayor of Jerusalem to Run for 6th Term

JERUSALEM — Mayor Teddy Kollek announced Tuesday that he will run for a sixth term in increasingly tense Jerusalem, the city where he has championed unity among Jews and Arabs for 23 years.
As part of his campaign platform for the Feb. 28 election, the popular 77-year-old mayor promised to continue providing equal services to both Arab and Jewish districts of the Israeli city.
