FHP International Corp., a Fountain Valley-based health maintenance organization, reported net income of $4.9 million in its second fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, up 33% from $3.7 million for the same period of fiscal 1988. The company posted revenue in the second fiscal quarter of $160.9 million, up 39% from $116 million for the second quarter a year ago. Net income for the first two quarters of fiscal 1989 was $9 million, up 45% from $6.2 million for the same period last year. Revenue for the first half of fiscal 1989 rose 41% to $312.9 million from $222.6 million for the same period last year.
