Uchida to Open Malaysia Wood Furniture Factory

TOKYO — Uchida Yoko Co., a trading company specializing in office equipment, said it will established a subsidiary in Malaysia to manufacture wooden office furniture by taking advantage of abundant lumber supply there. The company said Uchida MK will be based in Shahalam near Kuala Lumpur and initially produce office chairs starting in January, 190. Production will be expanded to include wooden office furniture, the company said.
