Rostenkowski Supports Brown for Democrat Post

CHICAGO — Rep. Dan Rostenkowski (D-Ill.), chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, announced his support Friday for Ron Brown as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Brown was national campaign coordinator for the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s 1988 presidential bid.
