Datron Systems’ Profits Rose 81% in 3rd Quarter

Datron Systems, citing improved profit margins, said its earnings rose 81% to $947,000 in the third quarter that ended Dec. 31. Sales for the Simi Valley communications and defense electronics company rose 7% to $8.9 million.

For the nine months, the company’s profit rose 77% to $2.4 million as sales climbed 12% to $25.5 million.
