Talks Approved for Hawthorne Development
The city of Hawthorne has given Cloverleaf Group Inc., Century City-based realty firm, exclusive rights to negotiate with the city’s redevelopment agency for a $250-million mixed-use project on Rosecrans Avenue, immediately west of the San Diego Freeway.
The proposed 25-acre complex would include retail space, three hotels, office space, restaurants, health club, an eightplex cinema center and 500 condominiums.
Pending approval of a final agreement with the agency, Cloverleaf plans to begin construction in June, 1990, with completion projected for June, 1993.
