Net income for the period last year was $291,930, which included a tax credit of $99,050. Sales for the quarter rose 16% to $3.7 million from $3.2 million. Net income for the first 6 months was $416,734; for the comparable period last year, it was $525,477, which included a tax credit of $178,700. Sales increased 17% to $7 million from $5.9 million.
