Mike Webster, the iron man of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line, retired, saying he could not play for any other team but may coach for one.
Webster was released by Pittsburgh and had considered signing with the Kansas City Chiefs but changed his mind.
The Steelers and the Green Bay Packers are said to be interested in hiring Webster as a coach.
