Woodbridge 4, Garey 0--The Warriors scored three second-half goals, two by John Szczuka, at home. Bruno Matturrano scored from 30 yards out 15 minutes into the second half to give the Warriors (11-4-5) a 2-0 lead. Szczuka scored his first goal on a header 20 minutes into the second half. He scored from 10 yards out to give Woodbridge a 4-0 lead. Scott Schmidler scored 15 minutes into the match as the Warriors (11-4-5) led, 1-0, at halftime. Goalie Eric Mooberry made eight saves for the Warriors. Woodbridge will play Ridgecrest Burroughs Friday.

Kennedy 4, Arroyo Grande 3 (penalty kicks)--Fighting Irish goalie Jerry Vargas made a diving save on a penalty kick by Jose Quintana to preserve the victory at Kennedy. The two teams were scoreless through regulation, two overtime periods and sudden death. Vargas made 15 saves, including two penalty kicks, for Kennedy (16-4-3).

Esperanza 5, Paraclete 0--Daran Martinez scored two goals and Horcio Villa, Mike Marageti and Troy Duncan one for visiting Esperanza (15-3-2), which plays Kennedy Friday in the quarterfinals.
