Playoff Roundup

In another Division II boys’ game:

Helix 73, Rancho Buena Vista 59--Helix led, 33-20, at the half and coasted to the victory at home. John Pressler scored 20 points and Rich Haar added 18 for the Highlanders (19-6). Rancho Buena Vista (14-14) tried to rally behind the three-point shooting of Todd Fellars, who had six three-pointers, including five in the fourth quarter.

Division III

Ramona 83, St. Augustine 67--Five players scored in double figures as Ramona won easily at home and advances to play top-seeded Lincoln. Tony Newman scored 23 points and Nae Hollingsworth added 18 for Ramona (10-15). Mike Massuto scored 23 and Paul Massuto added 15 for St. Augustine (2-18).

Division IV

Christian 74, Holtville 47--David Jeremiah scored 23 points and Darrell White had 15 points and 17 rebounds to lead Christian at Granite Hills High. Guillermo Guerra led Holtville (9-10) with 15 points. Christian (13-11) outscored Holtville 17-5 in the second quarter.
