Henry K. Elder, 62; Real Estate Executive
Henry K. Elder, a prominent Westside Los Angeles real estate executive for more than 30 years and most recently vice president and general sales manager of George Elkins Co. of Beverly Hills, died Thursday.
He was 62 and died of a heart attack at UCLA Medical Center.
Born in Los Angeles, he was a graduate of the USC School of Business Administration and at one time had been president of the 65-year-old Elkins company. He was a past president of both the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles boards of realtors.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia, two sons and a daughter who encourage donations to a favored charity.
