LOCAL : Man Found Stabbed in Santa Ana

An unidentified man was found stabbed to death in an alley at Second and Bush streets in Santa Ana this morning, police said. Santa Ana Police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said the man, who had been stabbed in the chest, was found by a sanitation worker about 6:45 a.m. Thomas said investigators do not know when the man was killed and they are trying to determine a motive for the murder. Police think he was a transient, she said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Santa Ana Police Department at (714) 834-4801.
