Moose Tramples Boy in Yard of His Home
From United Press International
IDAHO FALLS, Ida. — A 3-year-old eastern Idaho boy was listed in fair condition Monday after being trampled by a moose.
Josh Terry, the son of Val and Nora Terry of Parker, was in his yard Saturday when the bull moose charged and trampled him, lacerating his liver, officials said.
Fremont County sheriff’s deputies and Idaho Fish and Game officers found the moose later Saturday, but officials said the animal died when they tried to tranquilize it.
