Biola Scores 65-60 Win to Gain Berth in NAIA
Southern California College defeated Biola twice earlier this season, but Tuesday night at Whittier College, the Eagles won the game that counted most as they beat the Vanguards, 65-60, for the NAIA District 3 basketball championship.
Biola (29-7) advances to the 32-team NAIA national tournament starting next Tuesday at Kansas City, Mo.. Southern California College (28-4) was the top-seeded team in the District 3 playoffs.
