Michael H. Voss was named president of Laguna Niguel-based developer Birtcher. He succeeds Donald B. Talcott, who Birtcher said will still consult for the company.
Voss, formerly an executive vice president at Birtcher, moved over to the big development company from its law firm, Voss & Cook, which Voss founded.
Voss, 39, is a graduate of California State University, San Jose, and Hastings College of Law. He lives in San Juan Capistrano.
