Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian wielding a broken bottle, the army said, and a second Palestinian was electrocuted when soldiers ordered him to remove a banned Palestinian flag from a power line in his West Bank village, Palestinian sources said. Atef Jundieh, 20, was struck in the head by a plastic bullet on the second day of a general strike in the occupied territories. The electrocution victim was identified as Ibrahim Khaled Ali Hubal, 27. Army radio said that since several youths have been electrocuted, a new military order will stop soldiers from forcing residents to remove outlawed Palestinian flags or posters from power lines.
