Fullerton Committee Ends Work in Search for Coach
Cal State Fullerton’s John Sneed won another game as the Titans’ acting coach Thursday, and Athletic Director Ed Carroll announced afterward that the search for a coach has been completed.
“The committee’s work is done,” Carroll said after Fullerton’s 87-86 overtime victory over Utah State.
Fullerton interviewed three candidates for the job, but two withdrew, leaving only Sneed.
Fullerton has not called a press conference, but all that apparently remains is for Carroll and University President Jewel Plummer Cobb to act on the search committee’s recommendation.
Cobb will attend a Big West Conference banquet today, as well as the Titans’ semifinal game against Nevada Las Vegas.
