CS Fullerton Women Beat San Diego St.

Cathy Werth scored 22 points, and Gena Miller had 19 points and 12 rebounds as Cal State Fullerton (21-7) beat San Diego State, 68-60, in the Big West Conference women’s tournament Thursday at the Long Beach Arena.

San Diego State (23-8) was led by Julie Evans, who had 16 points. The Aztecs’ Chana Perry, who entered the tournament second in scoring in the Big West with an average of 23.7 points a game, was held to 10.
