Satellite Worries: Public radio and television programming faces serious disruption unless Congress finds money to replace a satellite expected to fail in 1991, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting said. CPB officials, who also are seeking full financing of their fiscal 1992 budget authorization of $265 million, urged a Senate panel to provide an additional $143.19 million to replace the satellite, which since 1980 has handled the public broadcasting network.
