Amgen Injunction: A federal judge in Delaware has issued a preliminary injunction ordering a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson to withdraw its application for federal approval of an anti-anemia drug and include its data as part of application being made by Amgen, a Thousand Oaks biotechnology firm. The ruling came as part of a lawsuit between the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary and Amgen. The subsidiary charged that Amgen violated a 1985 marketing agreement and had asked the court to halt Amgen’s application for federal approval of the drug.
