The University of South Carolina has agreed to report verifiable results of all drug tests involving athletes, making it one of the first National Collegiate Athletic Assn. schools to do so, school officials said.
“I’m not aware of any other school that does that, even though we encourage them to,” said Frank Urysz, NCAA director of sports sciences. “If more schools would be out front with information about their testing programs, I think allegations of mismanagement would cease.”
The NCAA publishes annual results of its postseason screening, Urysz said.
