China Rejects French Aid: ‘We Need No Help’

PARIS — French medical charity Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) on Friday canceled an aid mission to China after the Communist authorities said there were no injured to treat.
“The Health Ministry’s line was: ‘We don’t need any help, we have no wounded’,” spokesman Dr. Antoine Crouan said.
Crouan said the Chinese authorities had refused 24 tons of medical supplies sent from France, and the consignment is still at Beijing airport.
