Palamara Invited to Join Arena League

Arena Football’s earlier-than-expected return will give former Notre Dame High and Cal State Northridge lineman Tony Palamara the opportunity to resume his professional career this year.

Palamara was among 99 players invited to Arena Football’s league-wide training camp this weekend, the league announced Thursday. Palamara, 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, was assigned to the Maryland Commandos.

The league’s five teams will participate in a joint training camp at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., beginning Saturday and running through July 2. The regular season opens July 7.
