A 48-year-old Buena Park man was killed early Saturday when his motorcycle was broadsided by a van driven by a suspected drunk driver, Anaheim police said.

Police Lt. Ted Labahn said the victim, Eddie W. Hill, died instantly in the 3:20 a.m. collision at the intersection of Anaheim Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue. Labahn said the driver of the van, Martin Garcia Chavez, 20, of Anaheim, jumped out of his van and ran away after the accident, but was apprehended and arrested.

Chavez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run and manslaughter. He was being held at the Anaheim Jail with bail set at $10,000.
