The son of Tehama County’s sheriff has been extradited to Stanislaus County where he faces two murder charges for the 1986 deaths of two brothers near Modesto. Rudy Mike Blanusa Jr., 36, was booked into Stanislaus County Jail after being turned over by Canadian authorities. He is being held without bond. Blanusa was arrested in British Columbia in January after Canadian viewers of Fox Network’s “America’s Most Wanted” tipped police to his whereabouts. At the time of his arrest, Blanusa was working as a yard foreman and living in a Vancouver suburb with his common-law wife who had recently given birth to the couple’s first child.
