No China Trip

I had made arrangements for an extended trip to China this fall, but (recent developments have) so shocked and angered me (that) I have canceled my plans. I have also notified the Chinese Consulate of the reasons for my deciding not to visit. I am certain China is just as interested in American tourist dollars as any of its capitalist competitors, and I am inclined to believe that if others who planned a visit to that country act as I did, it may well have an impact on those responsible for the terror reigning in China today.
