Westside : Galanter and Woo Honored

Los Angeles council members Ruth Galanter and Michael Woo have been selected co-recipients of the 1988 Distinguished Leadership Award by the Los Angeles section of the American Planning Assn.
Both were recognized for their efforts to broaden citizen participation in the planning process and to protect environmentally sensitive areas.
Galanter and Woo will be nominated for statewide recognition.
