Local : Assessor Lynch Suffers Broken Leg

Los Angeles County Assessor John Lynch fell while fixing an air-conditioning unit on the roof of his home during the weekend and suffered a broken leg and ankle, his spokesman said today. Lynch, 52, was expected to be released by the end of the week from Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, and return to work by the end of the month, spokesman Robert Knowles said.
