Pat Buttram to Emcee Golden Boot Awards
Pat Buttram will emcee the seventh annual Golden Boot Awards for Western film achievements Aug. 5 at the Registry in Universal City.
Honored will be Johnny Cash, Robert Mitchum, Ellen Corby, Robert Duvall, John Ireland, Vera Miles, Dickie Jones, Casey Tibbs, Angie Dickinson, Robert Fuller and Paul Malvern. A memorial award will also be presented in honor of Andy Devine.
After the 6 p.m. dinner in the Grand Ballroom, Denver Pyle hosts an auction with proceeds going to the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
