Beverly Hills : Shop Neighbors Complain
Neighbors of a New York-style candy store owned in part by actor Mickey Rourke told City Council members that the establishment was attracting loud and obnoxious motorcyclists who double-park, blocking the alley between Crescent and Canon Drives, and rev their engines to ear-splitting levels into the early morning hours.
The four senior citizens referred only to a “9-by-12-foot shop owned by a celebrity,” but they named the establishment in talking with a reporter before the meeting. Council members promised stricter enforcement of parking ordinances.
