Titan Assistant Rogers Quits for Riverside Job
Dennis Rogers, an assistant coach for Cal State Fullerton’s baseball team, has resigned to become baseball coach at Riverside College, Fullerton officials announced Friday.
Rogers, 37, has been an a assistant with the Titans for the past three seasons. He will replace Tim Brown at Riverside, who was fired.

Tim Brown resigned as baseball coach at Riverside Community College. He was not fired from the position, as was reported in The Times on Saturday.
Rogers graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1976. He played 1 1/2 seasons in the San Francisco Giants’ organization before an injury ended his career.
