Oceanside
A Camp Pendleton Marine found dead Sunday near an alley in Oceanside died of a gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner’s office.
Oceanside police found the body of Roderrick Eades, 22, in the 300 block of North Cleveland Street near 4th Street at 11:30 a.m., authorities said. He had been shot once, said the coroner’s office.
Police knew no motive for the slaying and had no suspects, an Oceanside police spokesman said.
